ABOUT CHEZA KIDZ
Cheza Kidz is a program founded by Kenyan Dance Choreographer Daudi Wanje Mwamure & London Born Caribbean Artist Mikel The Energy as part of the Cheza Roho initiative that promotes Dance as a necessity for wellness and spiritual health.
Created in 2023 Mikel & Daudi started this non-profit programme dedicated to empowering children in the Villages of Kilifi through Dance.
What started with a handful of children in Kenyas poorest county has now grown to 55 children, boys and girls aged between 4 & 16 Our mission is to provide world class performing arts, culture & wellness training in local villages starting Kilifi
Cheza Kidz is a dance and wellness program supporting children from villages in Kilifi, Kenyas poorest county.
Through daily training, wellness practices, and cultural preservation, these kids are empowered to share their talents with the world.
